Dog News:Four Paws Up for Pet Potties at Reagan and Dulles Airports!

Pets Need "Creature Comforts" at the Airports Too! Photo: downtownpets.com

Well finally, pets get their doo or to do their doo when traveling via air in the Washington, DC area.  There are several outdoor and indoor pet potties  or “Pet relief areas” available both airports.  We wish the rest of the airports in the world would take note.  The five pet relief areas at Dulles are fenced in and come complete with a fake fire hydrant on faux grass.  Three are outside the main terminal and, get this, two are insid the midfield concourse for ticketed connecting passengers.  This is the best part…the indoor locations also have ventilation and flushing systems. Woot!

Reagan National Airport has four outdoor, natural grass relief areas all near the securtiy side of Terminals A, B and C.

Get the full list of locations at  www.mwaa.com/reagan and www.mwaa.com/dulles, click the airport services tab.

With all of the Pet Airlines now in business and Pet Policies changing for the benefit of pet owners, it’s great to see these airports stepping up for flying pups.

Woofy Woo!
