Challenge 2013- New Year, No Fear! Try Something New!

Welcome to a New Year! Let’s make it the best year of our lives and try something new! It is often said that we are our own worst enemy. Fear of failure, rejection, ridicule can leave us doubting ourselves and consequently, paralyzed. We don’t move forward with our life paths and our bucket list grows. We challenge you to pick one thing you wanted to achieve on your bucket list and do it. JUST DO IT! If you don’t have a bucket list, think about the things you want to achieve and just pick one.

Here are some tips from our furry friends to guide you:

Make a new friend this year.

Do something mischievous!

Meditate and rest

Meditate and spend quality time resting-We all rush, rush, rush every day!!!! Ugh!  Make sure you spend “YOU” time.  Rest, relax, read a magazine and recharge your batteries.  We need to take care of ourselves, so we can take care of our fur babies.

Swing a little

Swing a little-Do something that is child like.  Find a swing set and swing, slide down a slide, color, buy a toy and have some fun.  The feelings of nostalgia will reduce your stress.

Find a new purpose for the same old thing.

Talk about your feelings.

Do the “Impossible”.-Limits are only set in your mind.  Who says what is possible and what isn’t?  You do and no one else.  Don’t block yourself from greatness simply because someone told you that the task is impossible!

Be silly!

Be silly-who care what anyone else is thinking!  Really!  Be yourself and have fun.

Hold your fur babies close and cherish every minute you have with them.

Let’s make this the best year yet!
