Mariah Carey’s Jack Russell’s are costing her big bucks and her vet alleges she isn’t paying. We all know veterinary care can be expense. Our vet has a big sign up that says, “Payment due when services are rendered.” (Or something similar…you know your vet probably has a sign like that.) So, Mariah’s vet, Dr. Cindy Bressler is alleging almost $30,000 is owed to her for payment for various treatments to her 3 dogs.
The total amount due for the services rendered is in dispute as well. The suit alleges $8,231.50 has been paid by Mariah, but the rest is in dispute.
Oh Dr. Cindy, you should have swiped the Visa in the credit card machine and satisfied the bill before Mariah’s “People” left with the dogs. That’s what happens to the rest of us-we have to pay before we leave the Vet’s office.
The Monsters and Critics site stated:
“Bressler says she provided ‘extraordinary services’ for the dogs – Cha-Cha, Dolomite and JJ – ‘at the special instance and request’ of the singer between October 31 and December 2 last year, according to the legal papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.
Bressler ‘rendered veterinary services, including extraordinary services to the defendant’s canines’, the suit says.
In all, the suit says, she ‘performed work, labor and services on the defendant’s canines… at the agreed price and reasonable value of $37,790.32, which sum [Carey] agreed to pay’.
But the 41-year-old singer has only given her $8,231.50, and is refusing to pay more, the lawsuit says.
A representative for the Dreamlover singer told a US newspaper: ‘Her legal team is unaware of any lawsuit that has been filed.'”
