
Did you know this is National Dog Bite Prevention Week? The US Postal Service does and they issued some statistics.
Apparently, Houston dogs really don’t like the mail carriers. Last year, 62 letter carriers were bitten making Houston the highest number of bites in any city in the country. Number two on the list is Columbus, Ohio followed by San Diego California.
Nationwide, 5,669 mail carriers were attacked by dogs last year costing the agency $1.2 million in medical expenses.
