TPPC.tv Kicks Off Tribute Pages

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.  ~Bible, John 15:13

Ernie The Parrot and Snots the Cat

This is a picture of “Snots the cat” .  That’s right, “Snots”.  We received this adorable picture from Joe’s long time friend, Mike.  Mike wrote: “Snots, so named because he has a chronic sinus condition and is always sneezing.  He is wrapped in a towel so my wife can give him medication.  Our African Grey Parrot, Ernie, who thinks he is a cat, took the opportunity to taunt Snots while he was wrapped up.”  They both look like they are smiling.

Mike and Joe are both retired firefighters.   The common bond they share as such is a silent cacophony of the preverbal “still waters running deep”.  I have seen Joe share this bond with many of his friends that spent years “on the job”.    Interestingly enough, unspoken words are indication enough of the hell so many of these folks have been through.

We have been planning tribute pages for some time and with the receipt of the picture of Snots, we decided now is the perfect time.  Therefore, in appreciation of those who selflessly give day after day, we would like to pay tribute to those who give so much to make the world a better, safer place for us all.

We are in the process of building special tribute pages of pets belonging to Emergency Services members, Police, Fire, EMS, Search & Rescue and Military families.  If you would like to include your pet and person’s picture, please email:

Your favorite jpeg file of the individual and pet you would like to honor.
Please include the pet and the person’s name and state/province and country of residence
Branch of Membership, i.e. Las Vegas Fire  Rescue, years of service, active, retired or in memory of,
If you wish, please include a paragraph or a few sentences of tribute.

Please send to info@tppc.tv

We are looking forward to this long term project as we will continue to add information as we receive it.  Thanks everyone for including the people and pets of TPPC.tv in your lives. We appreciate each and every one of you.
