2) Clyde
Our Clyde a Rottweiler our fearless protector who will be watching over us all the time like he did while he was here with us on earth. Clyde came into our lives when he was 8 weeks old and left to go to the Rainbow Bridge at a very young age due to a genetic defect. He was and still is an awesome dog. Not a mean bone in his body as you can tell by his picture he loved the little ones (pictured here with his little friend Mouse). He will romp and play young and pain free again with his brother Blaze who will both be waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge and we will all cross it together. Big Fellow we will meet again and you are in our hearts and very much loved. We miss you Big Guy.
Clyde was born May 14th 2002 and laid to rest August 23rd 2006. REST IN PEACE-Love Mommy and Daddy, Betty and Duane D. IL, USA

5) Bruno
My best mate, gone too soon, we'll meet again one day my friend. - Diane E (Australia)
6), 7), 8) Taz
This is our angel at the Rainbow Bridge. His name was Taz and like many husky's he was an escape artist. I couldn't figure out how he got out of his dog run. So one day I hid around the corner and snapped these funny pics. He didn't go over the fence because he saw me, so he pretended to just be hanging out on his dog house like Snoopy. He was about 3 months old at the time. He left to go to the Rainbow Bridge last year. He was 11 years old. He was a very special boy and the leader of his pack of 4 huskies. He is missed by all those who knew him.-Patti C., Youngtown, Arizona, USA
9) Tramp
This is our beloved Tramp. He is active on doggyspace and focuses most his attention on dogs that are sick and/or have gone to the Rainbow Bridge. Tramp lived a long wonderful life of 18-years and he went to the Rainbow Bridge on March 27, 2005. He is greatly missed and as a result of all his love, his mom and dad have been active with Illinois Cocker Spaniel Rescue. We have since adopted Magoo and Mikey and actively donate time to the wonderful cause of caring for puppy-mill dogs, strays and dogs to have been unfortunately relinquished from their previous owners.-Eddie & Christine N., IL, USA
10) Rascal
This is Rascal. He came to us at the age of 11-years-old. His owner died and it was only the two of them living together. His owner was found 2 days later with Rascal laying by his side. He was quite depressed when he came to us. The owner, Mr. Lupo's family was dealing with his estate and would drop by daily to walk Rascal, but would eventually place him in a shelter. The neighbor, who works with my husband told my husband of the possible fate of Rascal. That night he came to us. He stayed in the kitchen for a couple of days, ventured out, the depression went away after awhile and he became a happy dog. Rascal also loved to howl to Frank Sinatra's "Love and Marriage". His first owner must have taught him that. The first time we heard it my husband and I just cracked up! He lived with us for the remainder of his twilight years. He was a great and gentle dog and we miss him terribly. Eddie & Christine N., IL, USA

12), 13) Candi
Candice Cane was my First dog. My own, bought by me, not shared with my sisters or family. I got her at a Flea Market of all things, but she had no fleas. She was the cutest pup as you can see. She grew to a beautiful Lady, Terrier, maybe some Schnauzer. I loved her. I got her when I was divorced. I remarried and she adored my husband. We had our first child and Candi, as I called her, was his protector. She lay by his blanket and let me know if he needed anything. She grew up with him. He is now a fine young soldier in the ARMY. Candi got very old, she got blind and deaf. We had a new baby in the family, she was 17 years old and she didn't even know the baby was there. She lay in the utility room on a blanket; she couldn't get up to walk outside. I had to have her put to sleep, she was in misery. She had no life. I loved my baby girl. I still miss her. She now plays with her sister Emmy at the Rainbow Bridge. -Carol O., Virginia, USA
14) Emmy
My dog Emmy was the first dog I had had in years. I adopted her as a 3 month old puppy at our local shelter; I got her on Mother's Day 2002. She was a shepherd/Pit mix. Her sister Bailey's profile is on DoggySpace. She and Bailey loved each other. I was told a big dog and a little one would never get along, but I didn't believe it. They were inseparable. We lost Emmy to a tragic accident. Emmy in a split second ran away and somehow wandered on to a busy road and was hit front on by a semi truck. Some children playing in a park found her dead, lying near a grove of trees. Our vet said that her death was instant in that all the organs had exploded, heart, lungs, etc. Emmy was the love of my life and I will never get over her death. I was trying to train her off leash, very close to our door and she decided for some reason to bolt. I was devastated and the next week, I went back to the shelter and adopted Rudy to fill the gap. It was never a replacement for Emmy though. Emmy was my angel, my first dog I'd gotten in a very long time and she died at the tender age of 3 years. Emmy, I love you my Angel. -Carol O., Virginia, USA
15) Emmy & Bailey

This is my beautiful collie that I lost on November 3, 2006. I rescued her from a high kill shelter. She was not well but at least I gave her 4 years and 8 months of beautiful life. It was the hardest decision I ever made to let her go but I know she is having fun at the rainbow bridge. Her name is Sally-Lea B., Kentucky, USA

She is getting a new puppy, his name is Shadow and I hope that he loves her as much as I did. I was only with her for 5 years when I came to the Rainbow Bridge but they were the most wonderful years any dog could have.” Snickers Moma is Pauline S., FL, USA
23) Hershey
Hershey, 1996-2008, was my loyal friend, my companion, my hero. He saved me from a burning house when he was only four months old. I owe my life to him and cherish the memory of him. I miss his silly grin, those morning licks to my face and his sweet personality. I know we will meet again and cross the bridge together. Hershey died of cancer and was one of the dogs included in the "Cancer can't keep a good dog down" calendar. Kay F, Wisconsin, USA
24) Cheyanne
My girl Chey went to the Bridge on July 8, 2008 after battling pancreatic cancer. What a gallant fight my little girl put up, never letting me know how much she was suffering. She always had a smile on her face! She was my life, my furry kid and I miss her every day. I always had family pets growing up, but Chey was my first dog all my own. Oh the things she taught me about life, unconditional love and loss. She had such a personality; she would actually talk back to me! If she could have put her little paw on her hip and said “Oh mom!” you bet she would have. Her sister Sierra misses her as much as I do. She never knew life without “sissy” and it’s very hard on her. We struggle through each day, comforting each other….until we are all reunited again and cross over the Rainbow Bridge together. I love you Cheyanne, you are forever in my heart baby girl! XOXOXOXO Vicki S., Illinois, USA

32), 33), 34) Max
Max just went to the Rainbow Bridge this morning, 2/27/09. His Mommie-peep and Poppie-peep wrote Lookie Lou through the Bulldog Lovers group on Facebook, along with about 400 others who cheered Max and his family on and tried to give them strength through a very difficult time for them. As pet lovers, we all became very endeared and engaged with this beautiful dog and the love of his peeps as they they tried to comfort him during his battle with pneumonia. They brought his favorite blankie and stuffed bear to the Vet to comfort him one day. I don’t think this lovely family knows how really sad we all are for them.
Max just posted this little note from the Rainbow Bridge on the Bulldog Lovers group.
“I just want to shortly thank each of 400+ of you good people who stayed with me for 170 hours. There isn't enough woof woof to woof you for all love, kisses and prayers. I sure know how much you helped me, my mom, and my dad. Mom and dad are very sad now, and I can imagine how bad this hurt. They just need a some time to try to recover. But, like someone said a few days ago god will take first the best of us, and all of you are in waiting line. No offense, but we bully's are something special, and you know that. I just want all of you to know that I love you too, and remember this is just beautiful beginning of one sad end. Stay in touch. Love, MAX”

35) 36) Patch
Patch found us and we're so glad he did. He was such a happy dog - our "official greeter" and "love sponge"- always ready to accept a belly rub. He loved to watch the lizards outside and play "ranch dog" when John brought home a load of hay in the truck. We still think of him every Tuesday night - garbage night - he loved to ride down to the highway with us to drop off the garbage can. We miss him dearly, he left us in November 2007 at the age of 11. Ann & John R., Newcastle CA
